NEIC again changes their fee structure for 2024

Posted on Aug 2 2023 - 9:08pm

The NEIC just reached out to the troop's key 3 this week to inform us that the council will once again be changing how the annual enrollment fee for scouts is collected and aligning with the National BSA fee collection schedule.  In December, when the Troop re-charters, scouts will be assessed the $80 council fee if they plan on participating in scouting in 2024.  Their $80 BSA national fee was collected in this year's AYR.  Also, in 2024, the council will no longer be assessing the AYR.  Then in December of 2024, scouts will need to pay both the annual BSA and Council fees which are expected to be slightly higher than their current $160/yr amount if they wish to participate in scouting in 2025.  I have attached the flyer we were provided about this policy change to this post.
